Are you doing the trailer treat like in the past?

This just in, we will be using Nov. 2nd as a points race and we will have our turkey race on the same day following the points events. Hope to see everyone out there! ... See MoreSee Less

The November 2nd race is a sponsored race. We owe it to the sponsor to give them their race. Traditionally the Turkey race is a fun day, which a handful of karts actually show up and participate. The club explored all options, the decision was made..

I say next year we don’t cancel a race. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve worked a corner in the pouring rain. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sounds good to me

We will be exploring options to fit everything is as best as we can

Will we be starting extra early to fit it all in?

Why would there be points awarded on a race that's traditionally used to experiment on things for the next year and to run experimental karts?

I thought nov 2 was rain date for championship nite if Nov 1 gets rained out for LMSC,grand sock etc..????

That seems so unfair. People plan their lives around the schedule and wouldn’t that now affect those who already created plans. Maybe just have it a race but not for points to make it fair.

If you can’t make the race then you can’t make the race. Unfortunately no one can control the weather. They added onto an already existing race day. Sure it wasn’t originally a points race day, but the club has sponsorships they have to uphold. There was an opportunity for the drivers to still get that last race in for points and the board made it happen. If you wanted a certain choice to be made you should go to the board meetings, they’re always open door. You can’t get upset when a choice is made if you didn’t voice your opinion in the first place.

Facts Chris!!!!

Susan Marien

Well that sucks - a make up race after the point season ends. 👎

Due to the forecasted weather, we’ve made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s race.
We wanted to make this call early to give our drivers and their families time to prepare accordingly.

Our board will be meeting this week to discuss the possibility of a makeup date, and we’ll share any updates as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support!

Id be down for a dubble race as well agree with Brett Silver what he said. Makes sence. Even two 15 lap races. Invert feild for second race 🏁 could be fun

Would you be willing to try a double feature on the 26th. Run a Practice, feature, then based off the finish of race 1 invert for race 2. Feature one be 15 laps, and second feature 15.

Good call. Everyone be safe.

Still think two 20 lap races would be great since it is the last race of the year just my thoughts

Sounds like a good idea to me. Thanks Donny Perkins III for bringing this up.

Thanks John Weaver for the consideration of the suggestion.

Casting my social media vote for a double day too 😆
