Hampton Roads Kart Club

We are so proud of Team HRKC for their outstanding performance this weekend at the inaugural Grand Prix Battle at Hampton Roads! 🏎️💨 Undeterred by the weather, these guys managed to clock 283 laps and secured a well-earned second place in their division. We also want to give a huge shoutout to Endurance Karting for hosting such an awesome event and thank all the friends and family who braved the conditions to cheer for Team HRKC. Finally, we want to say thank you to the safety marshals who went above and beyond to ensure not only the safety but also the enjoyment of everyone on the track. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we can't thank you enough!

See yall tomorrow!

Am I reading this correct? Seems like even non grand prix racers could come out tonight and get some laps in as long as we are over 16?

Is there a rain date?

Are they streaming this anywhere?

How many HRKC members can we get to help Justin?👀 He’s only asking for 2 minutes out of your day to help and you’ll finally be able to show off your new gear to someone other than your parents or significant other😅! If you have a few moments to spare today, please reach out to Justin and see how you can help. ... See MoreSee Less

🚨🚨🚨Huge opportunity we wanted to make sure you were aware of!

The IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship Program provides unparalleled resources, both financial and educational, to promote and empower drivers from a diverse variety of backgrounds and experiences. The selected drivers will receive benefits of over $300,000, including a fully covered premium pre-paid entry fee for the initial year, enabling participation in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, or IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge. Additionally, for the subsequent season in one of these series, the awardee qualifies for a 50% reduction in the prepaid entry fee.

Excitingly, the renowned Skip Barber Racing School has joined forces with IMSA for the 2025-2026 scholarship program, adding a $50,000 seat credit for the first year. Beyond having their entry-fee covered, recipients well receive training on marketing, social media operations, interview and communication best practices, and more. In recognition of the ongoing cost of competition throughout the session, the program also provides 1 set of Michelin Tires & 2 drums of VP Racing fuel for each event, a custom OMP Racing suit, a Bell FIA 8860 helmet, and various other essentials.

As you explore this incredible opportunity, consider the life-changing impact it has had on numerous drivers nationwide. We encourage our community members to seize this chance and redefine their career in racing.

The final day to submit applications is Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET- no applications will be accepted after this deadline. Any HRKC members who intend on applying, please feel free to reach out to a board member and we will do everything we can to assist you!
